dad thought it was my eyesight.
mom thought i looked at boys too much...lol.
sis thought i was in front of this screen too much.
i thought i was sleeping too much...lol.

no.
i do not have enough iron in my body.
i may have Anemia...or do i?
but i guess it's no big deal.
i'll go check up when im free...(next year)

Diagnising Anemia
In many cases, doctors don't diagnose anemia until they run blood tests as part of a routine physical examination. A complete blood count (CBC) may indicate that there are fewer red blood cells than normal.

Anemia Caused by Blood
LossAnemia, one of the more common blood disorders, occurs when the level of healthy red blood cells (RBCs) in the body becomes too low. This can lead to health problems because RBCs contain hemoglobin, which carries oxygen to the body's tissues. anemia can cause a variety of complications, including fatigue and stress on bodily organs.

Common signs and symptoms of anemia include:
  • paleness of the skin, inside of the mouth, and eyes, also called pallor
  • fatigue or tiredness
  • weakness
  • reduced ability to exercise
  • increased heart rate with activity
  • an abnormal awareness of the heartbeat, called palpitations, which may be unusually hard or fast
  • shortness of breath or breathlessness
  • loss of appetite
  • chest pain
  • mental changes, including memory loss, confusion, and depression(...no wonder i have my SMS (Short Memory Syndrome))
  • delayed growth and development in children

1957: Hati Malaya

1957

1957HatiMalaya
directed by Shuhaimi Baba

Synopsis:
Five young Malaysians - Hali, Salmi, Rafik, Ani and Ang Lee - have been assigned to do a picture book on '1957'. While two of them grudgingly carry out the request made by their publisher, one of them takes on the task enthusiastically. Along the way, they find themselves immersed in the characters, emotional moments, identifying with and finding meaning in the struggle of '1957'. They weave the story of independence by transporting themselves back to the past. Ordinary Malaysians who fell in love and found their love for the country override their personal emotions. The present characters find new meaning to the word 'sacrifice' and 'Merdeka'.

Title : LAMU -
Let Arts Move You
Venue : Various Venues
Date & Time : Sat 27 Oct - Sun 4 Nov 2007
Tickets : Free
Synopsis : The main idea is straightforward enough - to fill the KTM Komuter trains and train stations with art, and to let the arts move people physically and emotionally.

The Let Arts Move You (LAMU) project brings together 11 Malaysian and regional artists, commuters and the public transportation system in an innovative visual art event in Kuala Lumpur.

It aims at presenting the dynamic and creative situation of urban life in KL, drawing connections between artistic interventions and the rapid pace of urban development.

LAMU provides artists with KTM Komuter trains, the KL Sentral and Old Kuala Lumpur train stations as platforms to create work that actively engage commuters - to bring art to people in real and everyday encounters.

Artworks will be located both inside the train and in the stations and surrounding grounds.

LAMU also aims to take the act of commuting beyond mundane and routine journeys - travelling in public transportation can be a sensorial and educational experience.

Here's the basic schedule of events:

Exhibition (Opening on 27 Oct 2007)
Dates: Sat 27 Oct - Sun 4 Nov 2007
Venue: on the KTM Komuter trains (trains No.39 along Rawang-Seremban route), KL Sentral and Old Kuala Lumpur train stations.

All art works will be on display from 7am - 11pm daily, from 27 Nov - 4 Nov 2007
